CopyTrade
Overview
ApexLiquid enables ultra-fast copy execution (within 1 second) and offers a professional, highly customizable copy trading system.
You don’t have to worry about large balance differences between your wallet and the smart wallet you’re copying — ApexLiquid auto adjusts your position size proportionally based on balance ratios.
This ensures that your return rate (ROE) stays consistent with the copied address.
Your Copy Buy Formula:
Your Copy Size = (Target Size ÷ Target Balance) × Your Balance × Copy Ratio
When target address sell, Apexliquid uses this formula:
Your sell size = (Target address's sell size / Target address's total size) × Your total size

🚀 How to Get Started: Test First
Before allocating serious funds, it’s recommended to test if the smart wallet is truly profitable.
Step-by-step:
Use the Wallet Discovery guide to find a promising address.
Open the ApexLiquid Telegram bot: @ApexLiquid_Bot
Use the
/start
command → Click CopyTradeClick “Or Use A Sub-Wallet Copy”
Click Target Address, paste the wallet address
Click Investment Amount, enter 200
Click Create → A $200 test copy will start.
To closely match the ROE of the target wallet, we recommend copying with at least $100 and without any custom restrictions. This helps ensure your position size scales proportionally and your results stay aligned.
You can also start with $50, but due to Hyperliquid’s $15 minimum position size per trade, your ROE may differ from the target wallet. If your balance is too low and the size calculated by your copy size formula is less than $15, Apexliquid will wait 31 seconds, then add to the position based on $15.
When the target address's opening position accounts for a very low proportion of its balance each time, you can set the copy ratio to 3x~6x until your calculated copy size is greater than $15.
You can also set custom restrictions, but that’s usually a good idea only after you understand the address’s trading patterns.
To check profit/loss:
Use
/positions
or Click the Positions buttonThen Click View Position under your Sub-Wallet Copy to view details.
Pro Tip:
Start by testing at least 3 addresses.
This gives you a much better chance of finding true smart money.
Test them. Track results. Stick with the ones that actually work for you.
💰 Once you’re profitable, scale up your investment and fine-tune your copy trade settings to match their behavior.
⚠️ If it starts losing, analyze whether it’s just short-term noise or a bad fit for copying. If it’s the latter, drop it and move on.
🌊 Hyperliquid perps offer deep liquidity — meaning you can deploy large amounts and still get the same return rate as the smart money you follow. That’s how you go big. Someone went from $10K to $1M between Feb 4 and July 6, 2025 — a real 100x.
Good luck on your trading journey, brother 🍀

⚙️ Copy Trading Feature Explanation
1. Basic Setup
Reverse Copy:
Open trades in the opposite direction of the target wallet
Copy Ratio: Default is 1x Formula: Your Copy Size =
(Target Size ÷ Target Balance) × Your Balance × Copy Ratio
Example:Target wallet balance = $100K
Your balance = $1,000
Target opens a $20K long on BTC Your Copy Size = $(20K ÷ 100K) × 1K × 1 = $200
If you set Copy Ratio to 2x, your position = $400 Your Copy Size = $(20K ÷ 100K) × 1K × 2 = $400
If you set the copy ratio too high and end up using up your margin early, you may not get proportional roe with the trader you’re copying.
Copy Existing Positions:
If enabled, you'll copy the target's position proportionally based on your balance and theirs.
Not copy open, No copy Increase
if the trader Increase positions and you don’t already hold that token, no new position will be opened. (Note: if you only have a limit order for the token but no position, it also won’t trigger an opening trade.)
If enabled, then when you start copying him, if he has open positions, you will not trade them until he closes them and opens new positions, at which point you will buy the new ones.
For example, you enabled the “Not copy open, Not copy increase” feature and started to copy a source wallet that has multiple active positions.
With this feature, your wallet won’t copy the source wallet’s existing open positions or any increases to those tokens.
Only when the source wallet fully closes and then opens a new position will your wallet enter that trade.
If the source wallet switches direction without fully closing a position (from long to short or vice versa), your wallet will open a new position as if the source wallet had closed and reopened.
2. TP/SL & Buy Low, Sell High Settings
Price TP/SL (Stop Loss / Take Profit):
After creation, it will automatically close the position based on the price increase or decrease % you set.
Limit Buy at Lower Price: When the target address buys, you won’t buy immediately. Instead, a limit order will be placed at a lower price. This limit order stays valid for 10 min, but if the target address closes their position, it gets auto-canceled right away.(Lets you buy cheaper than the target address did.)
Balance TP/SL:
Monitors your sub-wallet balance.
* When your balance increases beyond the set TP amount, it will automatically close all positions and stop active status.
* When your balance drops below the set SL amount, it will automatically close all positions and stop active status.
(Each sub-wallet is monitored independently.)
3. Risk Limits on Buy Orders
Min/Max Trade Size: Each trade’s size won’t exceed this range. Note: Minimum size = $15
Buy Times Per Token: Max number of entries per token. Once hit, no more positions until the token is fully closed
Your Copy Size > $15:
If, according to the copy-trading formula, your trade size is calculated to be less than $15 and it remains below $15 after waiting 31 seconds, the trade will not be copied by default. You can enable the option—if enabled, it will buy $15 instead. If you enable buying, you’re concerned about risk. Maybe you can also set Max token margin and Max total margin.
Max Number of Tokens:
For example, if I set the cap to 10, my account will mirror only the first 10 positions opened by the lead trader.
Any new positions opened by the lead trader after reaching this cap will not be copied to my wallet.
Max Token Size: Total size allowed for each token (e.g., $1,000 max in ETH positions)
Max Token Margin: Total margin allowed to be used per token
Fellow Leverage/Max Leverage: Fellow Leverage: You will use the same leverage as the target address. Max Leverage: You will use the maximum leverage supported by the token (this allows you to buy more value, but increases liquidation risk).
Max Total Margin: Cap on total margin used across all copied positions
4. Buy Restrictions
Copy Buy / Copy Sell:
If you turn off Copy Buy, you will not open or increase positions. If you turn off Copy Sell, you will not reduce or close positions.
Inactivating - Copy Sell: This allows you to manually close any open positions.
Inactivating - Copy Buy: This functions like disabling both Copy Long and Copy Short, and also prevents increasing the size of existing active positions.
Copy LONG: If disabled, you won’t copy any long positions. (You will still copy decreases and closes)
Copy SHORT: If disabled, you won’t copy any short positions. (You will still copy decreases and closes)
Token Blacklist / Whitelist:
Blacklist: Prevents trading specific tokens
Whitelist: Only allows trading the selected tokens
If a token appears in both lists → it won’t be traded
Buy Isolated Margin Tokens
Once enabled, tokens that only support isolated margin will be copied. These tokens carry a higher liquidation risk.
Notification Settings 🔊
Allows you to turn off some types of notifications
Correction of Position Ratio
Adjust your positions to match the target’s positions according to your set copy ratio. (This feature is intended for use after you’ve been copying for a while and, due to manual closing or adjusting your position size, your current positions no longer reflect the copy ratio you set relative to the target.)
Min Balance of Target Wallet: Set a balance threshold: if the target loses money, or their balance falls below this number due to withdrawals, you will stop copying new trades, but existing positions will remain. (If you want stop-loss functionality, you can use the sub-wallet balance SL feature.)
For example: if the target withdraws a large amount, leaving a very low balance, and then opens a position large relative to their remaining balance, you won’t copy this trade. This reduces the risk of liquidation from taking excessively large positions.

🧳 Main Wallet Copy vs Sub-Wallet Copy
You can choose between two operating modes:
Main Wallet Copy (default)
Trades are executed directly from your main wallet
You can manually adjust positions at any time
Sub-Wallet Copy
A separate sub-wallet is created just for copy trading
You transfer funds to it from your main wallet
Trades run independently
Advantage: A clean, isolated PnL view just for copy trading
✅ You can choose the mode on the copy trading homepage or switch between modes during the setup.
Using separate sub-wallets keeps funds independent, if one wallet gets liquidated, it won’t affect the others. You can also track the PnL of each wallet individually.
A sub-wallet has a daemon process that continuously monitors your positions. If your position is in the opposite direction of the target address, it will automatically correct it, though such cases are very rare. (If you close a position, it won’t take any action.)
Using only the main wallet means all funds are pooled together, which can improve capital efficiency. You can use the main wallet to copy multiple smart money addresses simultaneously:
Buys will be calculated based on your copy ratio to determine your buy size value.
Sells will be executed as a percentage of your total position, which means any amount you bought manually or through copying other addresses will also be sold proportionally.
If you already have a long position and the smart money you are copying opens a new short position, you will not copy that trade until they close their position.

When I wrote this tutorial, I started a copy trade myself — I put in $2,000, and 3 days later, it earned me $1,367. I hope you can also find a true genius trader wallet. Do your own research, and hopefully you’ll make even more profit with Apexliquid.
